Who we are

TVpilot.App (“TVpilot”, “we”) is digital signage software operated from the Netherlands. For privacy matters, contact support@tvpilot.app. We are the controller for account and website data and a processor for content you display through the service.

What we collect

• Account data — email address, name/organisation name, hashed password (or your SSO identity), language preference.
• Content — media files, playlists, schedules and screen configurations you create.
• Device data — screen identifiers, online/offline status, player version and technical logs needed to run and troubleshoot your screens.
• Billing data — plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored by us.
• Usage data — privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics on our website and dashboard.

Why we process it (legal bases)

• To provide the service you signed up for (contract).
• To bill paid plans and meet accounting obligations (contract, legal obligation).
• To secure the platform and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
• To send service emails such as confirmation, password reset and important product notices (contract). Marketing email is only sent with consent and always has an unsubscribe link.

Where your data lives

Data is hosted within the European Union. Where a sub-processor operates outside the EU, transfers are covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Our main sub-processors are our cloud hosting, database/storage and email providers, and Stripe for payments.

Retention

We keep your data as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your account data and content are permanently removed; backups roll off automatically. Invoices are retained as required by Dutch tax law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Email support@tvpilot.app and we will respond within 30 days. You can delete your account yourself from the dashboard settings.

Cookies

The dashboard uses functional cookies only (session, language). Our marketing site uses privacy-friendly analytics without cross-site tracking.

Changes

We will update this page when our data practices change and adjust the date above. Material changes are announced by email.
