Display-as-a-service (DaaS) is a rental model for digital signage: a vendor ships you a screen or media player already loaded with software, installs it, keeps it running, and swaps it out if it breaks, all for one recurring fee. You never own the hardware. You're paying for the whole stack as a subscription, not just the software that runs on it.
